Whisper of violence left imprinted on my mind
The flood of relentless memories of the unkind
The immobilising fear creates desperation,
Chilling brutalised some may say
With a corrosive perception of life
Cut apart by a scheming knife
What they don’t realise it doesn’t happen every day
